ALPINE ORCHESTRA FALL CONCERTS

Never too old, never too young, to enjoy Victor Herbert's "March of the Toys"; Saint-Saen's "Carnival of the Animals"; or Rossini's "William Tell Overture", made famous by the Lone Ranger. Also on the program this month. prelude from "Hansel and Gretel" by Engelbert Humperdinck; Vivaldi's "Concerto in D Minor"; and "Fantasy on America" by Vaclav Nelhybel, variations inspired by "My Country, 'Tis of Thee".

The forty piece symphony, conducted by Dr. Farrell Coy, is in its 21st season and has members from throughout central Colorado. Young string students of violinists Noelle Hogan and Kirsten Campbell...members in training...will again join the orchestra for several numbers.

Concerts will be held:
Friday, November 18th, 7:30 p m, at Annunciation Catholic Church in Leadville
Saturday the 19th, 7:30 p m. at Salida SteamPlant Theatre
Sunday the 20th, 3 p m, at Mountain Heights Baptist Church, Buena Vista.

Everyone is welcome. There is no admission charge but contributions are appreciated to help defray expenses.
