ALPINE ORCHESTRA CONCERTS
The Alpine Orchestra's All-Mozart December concert series will feature local soloists: Horn Concerto Number 3 in Eb Major with Lawrence Brady and Flute Concerto Number 1 in G Major with Maggie Dishman, both of Leadville; and Oboe Concerto In C Major with Paul Ilecki of Buena Vista. Rounding out the program, also a work by Mozart, will be his Divertimento Number 2.
The 35 piece symphony, conducted by Dr. Farrell Coy, now in its 19th season, will perform Friday, December 4th, 7:30 p m, at Leadville's Annunciation Catholic Church...Saturday the 5th, 7:30 p m, at the Salida SteamPlant Theatre...with a matinee on Sunday the 6th, 3 p m, at Mountain Heights Baptist Church, Buena Vista.
The public is invited. There is no admission charge but contributions are welcome to help defray expenses.
